Last week whilst I was at a Smash Fest in Liverpool, I played Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii for the first time, the game is a lot more fun than that of Melee, the game is just so different and new, it's actually rather fun learning all these new tricks and such.
The advanced techniques from Melee are pretty much gone, besides pivot grabbing and a few others, but Brawl already has a few useful advanced techniques which can be noticed in some of these videos below... mainly reverse grabbing and reverse edge hogging (Also DI, But some people don't know about that.)
Overall, I prefer this game to Melee. It's far better in some aspects of the game in comaprision to Melee. I thought it was going to suck at first (probably because I play Melee competitively and was a tad upset when I heard they had changed the game physics completely and the characters whom I have grown fond of had changed dramatically.) and I was wrong, I love Brawl, more so than Melee!
Myself, and many others at the fest, basically said no to playing Melee and played Brawl, even those who owned the game wished to continue playing Brawl over Melee, when they could just play it any time they wanted to.
It is a very fun game and I recommend it to anyone who isn't going to play it in tournaments and to people who are worried about its competitive play, it is a tad slow at first, and you'll miss the fact moves feel like they don't have much power behind them thanks to the new awesome DI and just the general game physics, but the game is far greater than Melee in many aspects, give it time, it'll become either as good as Melee, a little worse, or a lot better.
Hey! I noticed that you have alot of cool overrides in your gallery, and a few of them are requests. I was just wondering if you take override requests. Do you?
